NorthernOps Industrial software platform
Software for mechanical engineering

From sales
to service.
One platform.

Stop juggling 8 different tools, duplicate entries and lost information. NorthernOps connects sales, quoting, production and service in one system.

Built for machine builders with 20–500 employees. GDPR-compliant. Made in Germany.

100.000 €+ Avoidable costs/year in service
4 Weeks Until go-live
~40 € Effective per user/month
DSGVO Compliant from day 1

The problem you know

Your service team loses
money every day.

Not because of bad technicians. But because of systems that don't talk to each other, manual planning and knowledge trapped in individual heads.

Manual dispatch planning

45 min. per dispatch for planning

Your dispatcher spends more time on calls, emails and Excel than on value-adding work. At 150 dispatches/year that's 112 hours — just for planning.

~32.000 €/Year
Misassigned technicians

20% repeat dispatches

Wrong technician. Missing tools. No machine docs. Every fifth dispatch has to be repeated — frustrating customers and burning money.

~15.000 €/Year
Knowledge gets lost

Knowledge in heads, not in the system

If your most experienced technician quits tomorrow, 15 years of knowledge about fault patterns, machine types and solutions walk out the door. Irretrievably.

Priceless

Conservative estimate: €100,800 per year — avoidable costs from manual service processes.

The solution

Five modules. One data thread.
Zero media breaks.

Each module solves a specific problem in your value chain. Together they form a continuous platform — from first customer contact through specification and quoting to maintenance after ten years.

Measurable results

The numbers that convince
your management.

No marketing promises — a conservative calculation based on typical mechanical engineering companies with 15–25 service technicians.

183% ROI in first year

Investment pays off in an average of 4.3 months. After that, every month is profit.

100k+ Euros saved/year

Through less planning effort, fewer repeat dispatches, fewer back-office queries and systematic after-sales.

4 Wo. Until go-live

Not 12 months like SAP. Not 6 months like ServiceMax. Meridian is productively deployed in 4 weeks.

Detailed calculation: Where you save specifically

Manual dispatch planning (45–90 min/dispatch)32.000 €/Year

Why NorthernOps

Not the next generic
SaaS solution.

SAP Service Cloud: 12–18 months implementation, €300/user/month. ServiceMax: English, US cloud, not GDPR-compliant. Odoo: Generic, no mechanical engineering know-how. NorthernOps: Built specifically for you.

Industry-specific, not adapted

Every feature is developed for mechanical engineering — not bent from a generic solution. QR codes on machines, skill matching for technicians, machine-specific maintenance plans.

Your data, your control

Self-hosted or cloud — you decide. All data in Germany, GDPR-compliant, with full audit trail. No vendor lock-in.

Live in 4 weeks — not in 12 months

No months-long integration project. No external consultant telling you how your own processes work. Go-live in weeks, not quarters.

One data thread for all departments

Management sees KPIs. Sales sees leads. Technicians see dispatches. No duplicate entries, no media breaks, no siloed solutions.

For decision makers

Questions you're asking —
answers that convince.

Management

"What does the current state really cost us?"

Over €100,000 per year. Through manual planning, repeat dispatches, back-office queries and missed after-sales opportunities. NorthernOps pays for itself in under 5 months — we'll show you the ROI calculation in the demo.

IT management

"Yet another new system to integrate?"

NorthernOps replaces systems instead of adding another one. Standard deployment in under a day. PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Docker-based. Self-hosted or cloud. No proprietary framework.

Sales management

"How do we win new customers more efficiently?"

Aurora automatically evaluates and prioritizes your leads. Geo-intelligence reveals white spots. Campaigns run automatically. And when the deal is closed, data flows directly into quoting and service.

Service management

"How do we stop repeat dispatches and planning chaos?"

Meridian automatically assigns the technician with the right skills. QR codes deliver all information before the dispatch. Checklists prevent oversights. The knowledge base makes new knowledge instantly available to everyone.

Platform FAQ

Do we need to roll out all modules at once?

No. Most companies start with a single module – commonly Meridian for field service or Aurora for CRM – and expand in clearly defined phases. There is no requirement to adopt the full platform at once.

How soon do we see first results?

Typically within 4 to 8 weeks after the first module goes live. Teams starting with Meridian commonly report measurable improvements in first-time fix rate and reduced dispatch times within the first month.

Is NorthernOps GDPR compliant?

Yes. The entire platform is designed for GDPR-compliant data processing. Data is stored exclusively on servers in Germany and the EU. On-premise deployments are available on request.

How is NorthernOps priced?

NorthernOps offers modular pricing based on team size and the modules you use. There is no all-or-nothing contract. You receive a tailored quote after a short demo call where we identify the right scope together.

Can NorthernOps integrate with our ERP system?

Yes. NorthernOps provides standard connectors for common ERP systems including SAP, Navision/Business Central, and Lexware. Custom integrations can also be configured without development effort via the built-in Hub event bus.

What does the onboarding process look like?

Onboarding happens in three phases: setup & configuration (weeks 1–2), a pilot with a small team (weeks 3–6), and then full roll-out. Our onboarding team guides you through every phase – included in the base package at no extra consulting cost.
